postcards from the edge

My dear friend Gina always puts so much thought into giving gifts and comes up with the most amazing finds. Besides giving little mama many many special things, she recently used this postcard instead of a greeting card, which I loved. I always feel guilty throwing cards away, but with this postcard I can put it in a cute little frame + hang on baby's wall.

Check out designs by the claudettes and even more postcards at 1973.

wee see

I am really excited to have the Wee See Collection of DVD's on Sonny. I have had a hard time finding black + white playthings/learning tools for Leni.  Apparently newborns do not see color until about 3 months, so when I came across these DVD's via Bloesem Kids, I knew I had to make them available at Sonny.

little bird

Leni at 8 weeks old, taken with my new fuji instax camera (trying to fill the polaroid hole in my heart). She's wearing the everyone dreams of peace tee by smiling planet. Super soft and easy to get on an active baby, very important in my world. Everything sold in the Sonny e-boutique is done with baby + mama's needs in mind!

sand gone

Clever mom and old friend Tiffany Smith is the brains behind Sand Gone. This dry body powder is non- toxic, non-talc and when applied to sandy parts of the body, removes the sand and leaves your skin soft, smooth and smelling great! With summer and the beach weather quickly approaching, pick up a an 8oz container at Sonny Boutique.

honey in the rough

One of my favorite places to shop in NYC is Honey in the Rough. Owner Ashley Hanosh not only has a keen eye for finding remarkable pieces (i scored my very lovely wedding dress here), but also has a warm + friendly spirit which makes shopping at the store enjoyable and non-intimidating. Everything I have ever tried on there I want in my closet. Honey in the Rough recently launched their online shop + with new baby slightly cramping my shopping style, this news made me smile.

smiling planet

I am in love with products from Smiling Planet, they have 100% recycled, earth friendly + BPA free dinnerware for kids. I've been carrying their plates + placemats on Sonny for some time but most recently they added bowls to the mix. For $14 each they make a really great gift.

I also couldn't pass up these too cute "everyone dreams of peace" tees. They are made in California from 100% organic cotton + custom dyed and printed with water based ink, $28.

Find them at Sonny Boutique.
